Volunteering
There are many opportunities to serve the church and the larger community through volunteering. These opportunities include:
-
helping to prepare the soup and brown bag dinner for the Mobile Grate Patrol, which delivers meals to homeless residents throughout Washington, DC
-
supporting the Georgetown Ministry Center’s homeless shelter, which is located at Christ Church for two weeks each November and March
-
serving as a Sunday School teacher or youth leader
-
serving as a member of the Mission Committee or the Youth and Family Ministries Committee
-
serving in a liturgical role as an acolyte, reader, usher, or crucifer
Please speak with a clergyperson or contact the parish office for more information about volunteering.
