Volunteering

There are many opportunities to serve the church and the larger community through volunteering.  These opportunities include, among others:

  • helping to prepare the soup and brown bag dinner for the Mobile Grate Patrol, which delivers meals to homeless residents throughout Washington, DC

  • supporting the Georgetown Ministry Center’s homeless shelter, which is located at Christ Church for two weeks each November and March

  • serving as a Sunday School teacher or youth leader

  • serving as a member of the Mission Committee or the Youth and Family Ministries Committee

  • serving in a liturgical role as an acolyte, reader, usher, or crucifer

For more information, we invite you to visit the Worship Service Volunteers page and the Outreach section of this website; or contact a member of the clergy: the Rev. Kristen Hawley, the Rev. Elizabeth Keeler, or the Parish Office.
