Women's Bible Study
Getting Involved with God by Ellen Davis
“This is a book about getting, and staying, involved with God – what it takes, what it costs, what it looks and feels like, and why anyone would want to do it anyway. It is at the same time a book about reading the Old Testament as a source of Good News and guidance for our life with God.”
The Women’s Bible Study group will continue reading the wonderfully engaging, Getting Involved with God, by Ellen Davis. The book may be purchased through Amazon or by contacting the Rev. Elizabeth Keeler who has a limited number of copies. Upcoming meetings dates are:
Tuesdays, January 10 and 24, February 7 and 21, 2017, at 6:30 p.m., in the Memorial Room.
We will finish this book at the end of Epiphany, take a break during Lent for a parish-wide program on Tuesday evenings, and resume our meetings with a new exploration in the Easter season.
Please know that this group welcomes newcomers and women of all ages from the parish. Join us for what will surely be meaningful time together. For more information, please email the Rev. Elizabeth Keeler or call 202-333-6677.
