Classes for our junior and senior high school students meet on Sunday mornings from 10:00 to 10:50 a.m. during the academic year and use the Journey to Adulthood formation program.
The J2A youth group is the second two-year stage of the Journey to Adulthood curriculum and consists of 9th and 10th grade students for the 2010-2011 program year. Our J2A students spend their two years together focusing on topics of Christian character while preparing to make a Holy Pilgrimage. Past pilgrimage destinations have included Glendalough in Ireland, Holy Isle in England, Iona in Scotland, and the Ecumenical Monastery at Taize, in France. The current J2A's pilgrimage to Canterbury will take place in the summer of 2011.
You may register your son or daughter for J2A by contacting the Rev. Christopher Garcia, Assistant to the Rector for Youth and Family Ministries at Christopher@christchurchgeorgetown.org.
