The Adult Forum for 2009-2010, Jerusalem the Golden: The Holy in Space and Time, examines the place of Jerusalem in our continuing encounter with God and our understanding of The Holy.  The Adult Forum takes place on Sundays, from 10:05 to 10:50 a.m., in Keith Hall.  All parishioners, guests, and visitors are welcome.

Speakers
Continuity for the 2009-2010 series is provided by three popular speakers: The Rev. Dr. Ronald P. Conner, Dr. Kathleen H. Staudt, and Mr. Jeffrey Hensley.  Dr. Conner, (S.T.M. General Theological Seminary; Th.M. Princeton Theological Seminary; D.Min. Drew University; Th.D. Boston University), serves as Priest Associate at Christ Church, Georgetown, and as Chaplain of the Washington National Cathedral.  Dr. Staudt, (A.B. Smith; Ph.D. Yale), teaches theology, spirituality, and literature at Virginia Theological Seminary, Wesley Theological Seminary, and the University of Maryland.  Mr. Hensley studied theology at Yale, and has lectured at Christ Church, Georgetown, and other area parishes, for several years.
We also welcome the return of several popular guest speakers: Susan Bond, Adjunct Professor of Religious Studies, George Mason University; and from Virginia Theological Seminary, The Rev. Dr. Stephen L. Cook, the Catherine N. McBurney Professor of Old Testament Language and Literature, and The Rev. Dr. Lloyd A. Lewis, Jr., the Molly Laird Downs Professor of New Testament. 
 

Short Course and Reading Groups
