Youth are invited to prepare for the sacrament of Confirmation during their early high school years while they are members of the J2A youth group.  The confirmation preparation program at Christ Church, Georgetown spans over the course of a year through a mentoring-based program.  Youth are asked to invite a family friend, relative, teacher or chaplain to serve as their confirmation mentor.  The youth and his or her mentor then meet monthly for discussion of appointed readings and lessons.

In addition to the mentoring relationship, youth participate in a weekend-long confirmation retreat, as well as periodic Sunday morning J2A classes that parallel the confirmation curriculum.
