Parish Bicentennial 2017

Christ Church, Georgetown will celebrate its 200th anniversary in 2017, having been founded in November 1817. Since May 2016, a planning committee of 17 has already grown to over 100 enthusiasticaly engaged parishioners dedicated to the process of sharing creative ideas and offering their talents to this ministry of celebration. One can witness faith growing during the process, even though we have yet to begin a proposed program or event. We are truly experiencing the effects of gratitude expressed through diligence on tedious projects and a renewed openness as we get to know one another better.

As we move towards the celebration's beginning, we invite all parishioners to view the progress report that provides information on planning to date, proposed events and programs, and names of committee members. If you have questions, please contact co-chairs Puffin Travers and Page Smith
