Environmental Mission

The earth is the Lord’s, and the fullness thereof. --Psalm 24:1

God’s creation, in all its beauty, wildness, and life-giving bounty, is the work of our personal and loving Creator. God has declared all creation good. We are created in God's image and as creatures have a unique responsibility to care for God’s creation.

The Environmental Mission Group organizes educational, spiritual, and hands on opportunities to promote a faithful stewardship of God’s creation. We seek to promote ways of living more simply through guest lectures, book groups and involvement in organizations promoting creative stewardship in our city, nation and the world.
